NINTEEN MONTHS OLD This month mom scored some cool toys and clothes from one of her good friends. I fell in love with my new bumble bee boots and Chicken Elmo. Mommy lets me garden with her alot and on "bath nights" I am even able to water the plants for her. It's a super treat, although I don't understand how I get so wet. Oh, I also had a real "professional" photographer take pictures of me for a Father's Day gift. Mommy let me wear my favorite items (sunglasses, bathingsuit and foofy). The photographer even used me as a poster girl for her website for a long time. They were so proud!  added Dec 17, 2005
	EIGHTEEN MONTHS OLD I was lucky enough to have 4 Easter Egg Hunts! I liked picking up the eggs but then I could dump my basket and start over - how cool! Mommy suggested a get a mini-haircut since she said I had 'nappy spot' on the back of my head from sleeping. I was very still and got a certificate of bravery too. I really like going to the grocery store and hardware stores now that I am big enough to "drive" my own race car in the isles! I like to garden with Mommy almost every day and love to play dress up too. I'm about 23lbs now and cutting my 2nd year molars already. My favorite foods are McNuggets, hushpuppies, BBQ, broccoli, turkey, hot dogs, OJ, kiwi, strawberries, green beans, tomatoes, chicken, wheat bread, yogurt, oatmeal, grits, blueberries and caaaakkkkkkeee (I have to say it really slowly to make mommy and daddy laugh). I can count to 10 and can say my alphabet up to about "p". added May 30, 2005
	SEVENTEEN MONTHS OLD I was pretty much a home-body this month. Mommy really let me "dig into" her jewelry and hats. I love playing dress up and do it alot! I got my first potty and really like taking it apart... not sure what to do with it yet, but I know it's great for my stuffed animals to sit on. I officially have a fear of all the instruments at the doctor's office. Mommy has to "bribe" me with a "mommy drink" in order to get me to calm down. I don't even get shots anymore, I just don't like all the stuff. Thank goodness Nurse Jan is so nice and likes me alot. Oh, I'm also following directions much better and mommy let me throw something away all by myself too! I can count to 5 on your hand and am up to "g" in the alphabet. I love Sesame Street and anything from Baby Einstein. added May 22, 2005
	SIXTEEN MONTHS OLD Even though it's January, I'm still in my Halloween costume. Mommy said she just HAD to have me pose for a nice picture in it and luckily it still fit after all these months (I'm still not quite 20lbs yet). This was the first opportunity she could take me to get good pictures. I have better coordination every day while eating and saying lots of words. "Please" is one of my favorites, especially when I want a sip of a "mommy or daddy" drink. I got to eat a yogurt cup on my very own, that was really fun (and messy). There are less pictures of me since mommy and daddy were very busy, but they got more video instead. added March 24, 2005
	FIFTEEN MONTHS OLD Christmastime is here! All the presents, pictures and attention, wow! Everyone was so festive and fun. Daddy took me to my first parade with some friends and by the time it was over I could say "Santa". I got to meet my family on my daddy's side (Aunts, Uncles and first and second cousins) by traveling to Concord, NC for the first time. I liked the car ride and mom and dad said I did great! I'm finding that I really like opening presents too. I'm feeding myself more with a spoon, still love to nap twice a day and every night before bed I brush my teeth (with help). Mommy loves accessorizing me with hats and gloves and I think it's fun to dress up. added March 24, 2005
	FOURTEEN MONTHS OLD I had so much fun watching the leaves turn colors and getting to wear my new coat. I can say a few words like "moon", "lava", "please", and the basic mommy, daddy and a few animals names. I'm understanding more questions which is really fun. I do know I'm not suppose to touch the TV or the drawers under it... but it's so tempting. I'm beginning to really understand the word "no" and mommy means business if she says it more than once. It still never hurts to "test the waters" with the TV buttons. Oh, and I LOVE my bedtime routine and my "woobies" (my stretchy fleece baby blankets cut into small squares and fringed on the ends). They calm me where ever I am as long as I can put them on my upper lip near my nose. added March 15, 2005
	THIRTEEN MONTHS OLD Well, I am getting better and quicker at walking and even can go in and out of the deck doors by myself. I know what "big girl step" means, and have to hold mommy's hand for help. I got to walk in a mini-parade at Halloween and lots of strangers took pictures of me. I'm not sure why, but mommy says she knows why. Something do to with "adorable" and "she'll never get to wear that when she's older"..... added March 15, 2005
	ONE YEAR OLD I finally turned ONE! I had a birthday party the day before my "real" day and it was so much fun! I loved seeing everyone and opening (and tasting) all the gifts. I'm such a big girl! I can walk & run, sing, laugh, and climb everywhere! Sometimes I even get to use a spoon when I eat, but I don't do so well yet. My family (grandma especially) is excited my hair is starting to grow. Don't be surprised if one day I call you on the phone, I'm becoming an expert "button pusher" and love to talk into anything small! I got my first pair of "big girl shoes" compliments from my Tanta Ann. I felt so prissy in the store and even got to pick out a pocket-book too. added March 7, 2005
	ELEVEN MONTHS OLD August just flew by! My teeth are coming in like gang-busters and I have several on the top and bottom now. I found much joy in getting messy at meal-time and have a passion for helping mommy with the laundry. I could live in a bathtub, I absolutely love the water! added March 7, 2005
	TEN MONTHS OLD I am having a great summer so far! I got to go on an airplane and see my Aunt Karen in FL, play with my only cousin Madeline and their dog Jolie (they both made me laugh a bunch), and even go swimming! I loved it, even when mommy took me underwater! I can't wait to do that again!!! I ate lots of new foods and was even allowed to explore my bowls and spoons after I ate... that was really fun & messy. I still enjoy getting the mail after dinner with daddy, singing during dinner with mommy but especially playing "princess" in the big mirror after my bath! I am 26in tall and weigh over 17lbs 3oz now, still tiny, but very strong.
	NINE MONTHS OLD Because I was really cutting teeth, there aren't too many smiling pictures this month. Of course I was happy but my smiles were "quick and sly". I seem to have heard the word "NO" alot and it made me giggle. But, when Mom said "STOP", that got my attention. I ate a bunch of solid foods, mostly at lunch since I got tired of chewing at dinner. I loved casing anything and could almost stand by myself. I crawl quickly now and try to chase the cats. Mom and me are still working on our opera together, seeing who can yelp the loudest. added July 13, 2004
	EIGHT MONTHS OLD This month, I learned how to pull myself up and stand for a while. I can crawl a little bit, but would rather walk holding onto things. I'm really working on my "singing" voice and love to belt out opera notes (for some reason I get laughed at when I do). My rash cleared up but now there are some days I look "yellow" because I eat so many orange fruits and veggies. If I could, at night I would snuggle under every blanket I own...it still drives Mommy crazy. added June 16, 2004
	SEVEN MONTHS OLD What a month of firsts for me! I had a blast celebrating my first Easter too. I did get a red, dry rash on my face and arms. It's much better now, but there were times this month when mommy and daddy were concerned. I think it's pretty normal though. It never affected my mood as you can see. Mommy had to officially change my clothes to 6-9 months and pack away the others..... she said it was hard, but I like growing! added May 15, 2004
	SIX MONTHS OLD This month I wanted to chew on anything and everything. I loved all the new flavors of baby foods I tried... there is NOTHING I don't like. Mommy says I would probably eat cat food if she gave it to me (then she laughs). I want to stand all the time. I'm sleeping through the night and play in my crib when I'm awake. 	FIVE MONTHS OLD   This has been a month of "firsts" for me! I can sit up by myself (for a long time), roll over both ways whenever I want, ate cereal in my new eatin' chair, went to a nursery for a few hours, and also grew TWO new teeth! I am having so much fun learning new things everyday! I LOVE to make raspberries at everything and everyone. Mom and dad say it's very cute and grandma loves it when I do it while whining. added Mar. 13, 2004

	THREE MONTHS OLD WOW, I had such a fun month! I got to dress in festive clothes, laugh, giggle and coo at family, and had a chance to visit with lots of nice people. Mommy says I'm growing and weigh over 11 lbs! added Jan. 19, 2004
